Higher break rate... I could maybe see that because of different materials used to manufacture the elbow. But dimensionally are they different?

The part (elbow) was the same part number as my Impala and the GP's. It was the disassembly that was a little different.

Where did you get the coolant elbows. Just replaced a bad crank in my GTP and the elbows had been epoxyed in and broke during the tear down.

Dealerships always stock them. common part to break during removal.

Local parts stores, O'Reillys for example would have them in their "HELP" section. Same as stock as far as I can tell, but of cheaper quality than OEM for what its worth.

I always will try to go with OEM for stuff like this I know fails all the time to avoid problems later down the road.

When I replaced my LIM gaskets, I used the ones from ZZP. I didn't break my original ones, but I figured as long as I was doing it I might as well put new ones in.

If you unbolt the tensioner and pull straight to the passenger side of the car, they should come out without breaking.

I thought the help section ones didn't fit as well?

I have used them in a pinch, and have not had a problem. But when I can...I will always run OEM because of the quality.
