Hey everyone. Got my car dynoed last weekend. Word on the street is I should have been getting around 230-235 whp and 250-255 torque. What gives?

Also, my stock dyno numbers were 200-205whp and 225-230 torque.

i would say its cause of ur pulley size and the lack of headers!

regardless of that man i still should have more wheel power than that. +13whp and +9 torque after my mods? Here is my "trail of thought"

    At the Crank:

    Pulley: +15
    DP: +3
    Intake: +3
    Plog: +5
    Tune: +10
    __________________

+36 Crank HP. You can jumble the numbers however you want but I'm thinking +36at the crank is about right. I'm not even counting the
104's,wires, and tstat because that would be too contraversial.

So +36 Crank HP on top of my Stock 260 equals 296 HP at the crank. 296HP minus 20% powertrain loss equals = 237 WHP.

I'm going with about 20% powertrain loss because thats what my car was stock. I just looked over the dyno sheets and I had a couple 207whp stock runs also.

those numbers are pretty accurate. You need more breathing mods, then drop that pulley and see what #'s you get.

all depends on track prep and the temp/da at the time of the run.

in good air i would say close to 100mph. i say dont go off et's cause that can widly vary due to traction and 60 foot.

ill put it this way. with my intake and headers i went 14.1 at 98 with a 2.17 60" that was in GREAT air. about 45* and negitive DA.

last time out in 90* heat and DA in the 2800 range with a 2.02 60 with intake, headers, and 1.8roller rockers all i could do was 14.2 at 96.

track prep and weather conditions play a big part in things. remember to take a note of the temp and try and get the da.

with my 14.1 run if i had better traction i think i could have gone 13.9. so i think 13.7 is possible.

2.17 60 was not cutting it. slick street tires SUCK. next time out my bro let me borrow some kumho's (not sure if they were DR or not) but i was netting 2.0 60's pretty easily.

this will be my first time at the strip too.

what should i put the tires too? right now they are at 32psi all around. i have the pzer neros for the mustang gt so each tire i think is 10mm wider than stock.

    my gas tank is full!!

hey good luck at the strip! I hope to see your time in the 13.8/9 range. It will give me a range to gauge my car. I told my brother, who is a huge camaro fan, that I believe I can get a 13.8 in my car and he and his friends were very skeptical. I do need to change my plugs again because I have noticed that I am not getting the pull from a 20 mph roll that I used to. Can't wait to see your results

its a dynojet. divide those numbers by 1.135 and thats what your car is really making

IMO I say your knocking just a bit without headers. blowfish has a stock pulley I think and he ran a 14.1. That right there goes to show you how much these cars like to breathe. Sell you DP/PLOG combo to someone and get headers and trap 13's.

you dont have to sell your plog dp. you need a good tune. im sure the car is lean as all hell and knocking. theres no wideband on your dyno sheet so i cant see how bad it is but less than 220 to the wheels and your supercharged with mods is not good. my L36 made 210whp, and 220wtq on a mustang dyno.
