Thanks for the post. I could show you 20-50 that are just like that. They have some vague information, but the specifics are hard to get. That's why I come to specialty forums, like these

Should I look at getting another oil pump or pickup? I'm going to pull off the oil pan anyways.

Does anyone make decent headers with the outlet at the stock location? The SLP headers I've seen go straight through the Fiero trunk. The stock headers give enough space to work around the trunk. Mustang headers?

Does it matter what Series II wiring harness I use? Year matters? SC vs non-SC matters?

I haven't read through the whole thread, but the wiring harness is different for different vehicles (GP vs Impala vs Regal, etc), and SC vs NA have a different MAP connection, only
SC harnesses have the wiring for the BBV solenoid, and and some NA harnesses use a different connector for the injectors.

I got a trade. A guy is trading me a Series II GTP wiring harness and ECU (with his manual trans coding) for a few GP parts.

Edit: Does the throttle body have to be off of a supercharged 3800 or is a NA throttle body ok? This is what I'm looking at right now:

It's an OEM replacement. Not much else.

It replaces the anemic front exhaust manifold. Good mod.

They have options for a rear exhaust manifold. Any thoughts on that? I've been unable to find any pictures of them.

The stock rear is actually pretty good by itself. A little porting could be useful.

Any thoughts on the ZZP oil volume kit?

    Oil volume kit link

I emailed them and they said it increases oil pressure by about 5 psi.

btw, is there a boost sensor on the Series III SC engine?

Should I change the oil in the supercharger? Looking at the transmission fluid, I don't think the last owner ever changed anything, but the oil.

What does the Series III use for a fuel pressure regulator since it's a "returnless" system?

What do Series III Grand Prix's do for fuel pressure regulation? I've got to mimic that

Probably won't hurt. Never knew anyone that had it.

In the DIC...it shows bars...but you should run a manual gauge...at least that is what I would do.

I would. $20 for a few bottles of GM oil...and you only need 2. Suck it out with a turkey baster and put in the new shiz. End of story.

It looks like guys are using the Tee fitting with a pressure relief valve off of a Series II fuel rail. I saw that there are pressure relief valves available for Series II cars. What do you guys think?

    01 02 03 04 Buick Regal 3.8L Fuel Pressure Regulator:eBay Motors (item 250428340750 end time Jun-19-09 06:08:10 PDT)

Also, one of the main swappers out there uses a pressure relief valve that's built into a fuel filter. Anyone know any fuel filters that double as pressure relief valves?
