Very nice work on the motor.
I used high temp aluminum engine paint that I had bought from O'Reillys

You are the second person I have heard say that the Comp lifters were noisy. I guess the OEM ones are better then?

Well that makes three, so I'll just find some low mileage OE lifters or brand new ones if they arent expensive.

Farnsworth, are there any difference between the CompG lifters and what I would have in my GTP? I want a set of good quality lifters, some beefed up pushrods and good springs to use with 1.7 or 1.8 roller rockers. Any input?

    Nice, looks great bud!

Just curious, i was looking at your sig, are you cammed at all or are you still on stock valvetrain? I don't see rockers listed so I was wondering. How much are you spraying nowadays?

What does a stage 4 blower have to do with a 4k stall. You do realize the stage 4 blower does little more than a stage 2 or 3. It just has inlet outlet ported and i believe ported for an ic. Their are no roots or twin screw cars that should need a covertor that high. I dont think i would go over a 3k stall. I hate my 3k stall. I dont even want to imagine a 4k stall.

the converter stall would be that high to get him in the power range for the cam he has...not blower.

I understand that. He said blower tho and not blower cam. And even a huge cam like the stage 4 should not need a 4k stall. You want you stall close to you peak torque and im sure the stage 4 does not move the max torque up that far. I think even a 3500 for blower not centrifugal cars is to big. Its alot of stall for a car that should make power almost instantly. I know my friends xpz car with a 2750 has no problem getting off the line. Still cut 1.7's on qtp's.
