I had my eye on the Yella Terra 1.9 rockers, and i also was looking at zzp's modded 1.9's, since i decided i can't afford an s1x cam right now. I think they will compliment my genv top swap nicely. Anyone have any issues with either of these?

I'm currently running the modded stockers. ZZP's page is right that there are tons of that style on the market with no issues. They work as advertised and look like stock.
Haven't really heard anything about the yella terras.
Yella Terras = amazing....spend a little extra for an amazing product...that is all
I had Yella Terra 1.84's. I loved 'em...sold them to ^^ THAT guy when I did my cam swap. For the money, you could get the modded stockers...but I am just one of those people that like to see those bit*hin' things under the valve cover
For the price though you can't gripe and I have heard nothing bad about the ZZP modded 1.9's. Just be sure to get those Valve Springs![]()
Well I did some math, the yella terra's come with rocker bolts, and new push rods. If i went to purchase the zzp ones and for extra cost added the bolts, it's kinda close. I will prolly just go for the y/t's, this way sabre and I wont have the exact same head's![]()
Just a FYI...you can get those reusable rocker bolts at a local hardware store
I found that out when I was pressed to get mine done after the cam build and they are like $.80 a pop...vs. the 20-30 bucks that they are from Comp Cams![]()
I plan on going stock ratio with rollers... maybe slightly larger and cam down the road... that way I get the best of both worlds
i have the modded rockers from ZZP and cant complain at all. they helped the top end and the look/work exactly like stock. roller rockers were out of my price range at the time and i cant see the benefit of rollers at this point.
supposedly rollers rev faster, and it quieted down my valve train. i felt the pick up in power in all rpm ranges and it pulls hard to redline. 4500 and up the rpm really start to move, but thats also about when i hit full boost.
should be the angle of them...hence the ratio as yours open 1.8 times for every 1 vs. Bio's with 1.9 times for every one.
The ratio is determined by how close the pushrod seat is to the pivot point.
yella terras are sick... nothings better than some rollers
so whats up with these yella terra 1.6:1 rockers? They're so cheap due to drilling and such.... bad idea?
