Those are the stock ratio roller rockers. Plus they say that they are adjustable and need LARGER valve covers. I don't even know of a place where you can get larger 3800 valve covers...

I think you have to drill and tap your heads for the rocker arm bolts that fit that set. But I could be reading it wrong.

They were saying you have to drill and tap the roller rockers in the back for the extra set of bolts so you can adjust them IMO...

Or maybe they are just saying you tap them due to your personal preference on where you want them tapped? Or maybe if you tap them at a different spot they are able to be adjusted for a higher ratio? Just a thought...

I'm barely thinking I'm going to squeeze out good timing on a 3.8". I've got a ported blower, LIM, TB, 1.9s, 42.5# injectors, Plog, DP, and Wizaired. That higher CR affects things a lot.

Both work well. If not going with a 1.95 ratio and springs 1.9 mod'ed are fine and have been proven time and time again to work. And work well with stock springs with little to no valve float(depending on spring wear and tear, mileage) to 6k rpm area.
If money is an issue you will not be upset with mod'ed rockers.

I've been running Intense Modded 1.9:1 Rockers since 2003 or 4. They've been great! These are the same thing as ZZPs, IWins, etc.

BTW, I strongly suggest upgrading springs when doing rockers. After putting 60,000 miles on my car with 1.9 rockers I had a stock spring break. Luckily I cought it before anything happened, then and there I upgraded to CC 105# Springs/Retainers. I could of easily dropped a valve and lost my motor. I somehow I got lucky. Keep in mind, I NEVER revved over 6K. Do some research on ClubGP, i'm not the only one I had this happen too, there are many more like me, although most didn't get as lucky.

The moral, when doing any kind of 1.9 rockers being stock modified or rollars, don't be a cheap ass, upgrade the springs/retainers and save yourself some trouble later on down the road...

I don't see any point in going over 6k on my setup. I have L76 valve springs, Lsx style retainers, and viton valve seals to go along with the 1.9 yella terra's.
