how do you get a 4.0" pulley? the stock is 3.8", sure it was measured correctly?

if you swap over your GP mounts it bolts right in.

hm, that's weird. does it look like a stock pulley? the only pullies you can have that are bigger are aftermarket and im not sure that you can even get a bigger pulley than stock unless it is an SSM90 pulley..

Nate at Smoothflow will make whatever pulley you want, but I would think those would be immediately noticeable. I don't know much about the H-Bodies, but I really thought they had a 3.8" pulley stock, same as us.

s/c looks exactly the same the only thing i could think of that would be different is it could be a gen 5 but that has nothing to do with the pulley size but out of curiosity how can you tell the difference between gen 3 and 5?

and it was just a black pulley nothing fancy i just called them and told them just to put my old blower on

Dead giveaway for a Gen 5 is not having the bolt hole on top. They also have a noticeably longer intake.

You may wanna double check but I believe the oil pan and pick up are different on the H bodies verses the Ws.

If the pulley ain't a 3.8", Then its been tampered with before....

the bonneville has the same pulley as the rest of the 3.8's

its dependent on the year of the car, but 96-99 and00-03 Bonneville l67's have small differences

you will need to change the oil pan, coil pack bracket and the tensioner bracket from the SSEi motor. You will also need to add your dog bone mounts onto the motor
