Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you that are running drilled 180* thermostats could tell me what temp your ECT's stay at both on the highway, and during city driving.
Most of the time, mine (I drive an '04 supercharged Monte - which is an L67 - and run a 3.4" pulley and TOG's and a tune) stays at 175*-180* on the highway and a little higher around the city (around 190*-195*).
I noticed that this winter that anytime it gets below 40*F outside, my car heats up really slowly and it will barely get up to 170* on the highway.
If it's colder than that, it may not even see more than 150*.
Wasn't sure if these temps were normal with a drilled t-stat, or if it's possible that mine got stuck open at some point during the winter.
