I just read someone else's post on resolving similar issues with basically checking all vacuum lines and replacing as needed...I do still feel I have something going on like a vacuum leak, and hear these guys are notorious for them so I'm gonna have to look all of that when I can...I had to borrow my mom's car to go to work today because when I started'im this morning was misfiring badly and I'm thinking it's the ICM - but I won't know until i get home and test it. My dad's GP recently had his ICM go and boy was that a bad misfire - I thought I had it bad before haha. Funny though, that car has something over 210k mi and it lasted quite a bit.
I think I'm going to have to replace vacuum lines and such until I know there can't be anything wrong in that area, or it gets better - it just sucks that most people can't hear what I hear under acceleration (I feel like I must be a fennec fox or something) so it's like I'm on my own trying to figure out what/where it's coming from.
