    Whats up folks...

Damn GTP just started this ticking under boost. Roll slightly into the throttle and get a fast tick. I was thinking maybe header leak. No biggie. Then this morning, I cant get over 10 PSI (Ive seen 13). Im a little lost. I was thinking LIM but I dont have a miss. Im not losing coolant. If anything, she leaks oil like a SOB. LOL.

The ticket SOUNDS like a pulsating boost leak. No misfire or anything. Just the tick (more like a flutter). I will get some carb cleaner and start hunting.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

on a cold start it will leak its most if its the headers, they put your hands around the headers to feel for a leak. carful, they got hot pretty fast.

the boost, its colder out is my guess. i used to make 10 in summer on my 3.4 and 12 in the winter.

This is some random crap. Now it's not doing it. I'm driving. Up to operating Temps. No noise. SMH

OK. So whatever this is, its getting louder. SMH. Its not the headers. I checked that. I need to start hunting for vacuum/boost leaks. I can only get 9 psi now. The weather in the DC area has been on a cracked-out see-saw. From highs in the 20s to highs in the 70s. And back. Boost level is the same...

Can you hear if the fluttering is coming from under the hood, under the car, general area? My thoughts of candidates:

    Leaky flex on the downpipe
Vacuum T under the SC snout tends to rot and break
so does the 180 degree vacuum coupler at the throttle body
still have EGR? cracked EGR flex tube?

you could use some seafoam and make smoky smoky to find an exhaust leak.

Leaky flex on the downpipe I hope not! LOL!
Vacuum T under the SC snout tends to rot and break I will check that..

still have EGR? cracked EGR flex tube? Yes, it still has it. I bought the delete kit but I havent installed it yet. Maybe its time?

you could use some seafoam and make smoky smoky to find an exhaust leak. And the neighbors will KILL me. LOL!
