So far i have the lower intake gasket changed, did the LIM modifications, valve covers and gaskets replaced, AL coolant elbows, Speed Daddy headers installed, bought a MPS and found out the car already had a dropped pulley of 3.4 so i will have a 3.4 press on pulley and 3.8 MPS pulley for sale soon along with the puller.

Questions i have comes to the headers. The starter positive wire seem way to close to the headers, does that need to be protected? The rear header is touching the trans dip stick and there is a brake line which i think has been replaced (not sure its the stock routing) touching as well.

Has anyone had issues with heat from headers causing issues or possible fires?

Also the upstream o2 is not going to fit. I read you push in the fire wall for clearance. How much is needed since i dont know how much engine movement i will have went installing.

should have beat that in when the headers were being installed still. its almost impossible to hammer it headers installed unless you got a air hammer.

from pics ive seen they make a a good 1/2 deep dent the length of the o2. its going to hit then bend and kill the o2. been there myself. ended up moving it to the cross over pipe.

bat cables are fine so is the dip stick.

    Run a 97-04 C5 Corvette o2.

Swap the pin outs, put her on it.

The sensor body itself is around an inch shorter in length and it is the same threads and everything.

Lots of people used that trick back in the day.

can you explain more on the swapping the pins out? does that mean changed the plug to fit the current one or do i remove the wire and terminal from the plug and push into a grand prix plug?
