im getting my dhp setup in a week or so so I cant monitor kr yet
my question is via my phone and bafx adapter I see I have approx. 8* timing at wot on a 3rd gear run and that seems pretty low to me
what is stock timing supposed to be assuming no knock retard ?
currently the car has u bend delete, 180 thermostat , open cone filter, 104 autolite plugs, some turbo mufflers on the stock catback
before I start tuning im going to swap a ported blower on the car and a 3.4 pulley with 42lb injectors with a ported throttlebody so I can start tuning the setup as its going to be ran

That would mean you have three to four degrees kr. Every degree of kr takes away two degrees timing

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

before you swap to a 3.4 you need more exhaust modifications like headers. are you in Sheridan, Wyoming?

There's a table that pulls timing over time so it's possible that depending on how long you are in it it can pull several degrees of timing.
An engine is an engine no matter the size.... I think Dr. Seuss said that... or maybe it was Big Weld....
