I did a DIY cold air intake today on my gtp and had a concern, after removing the stock intake system i noticed the "computer" sits inside the box. After removing this what/where do you guys do with the computer? Does it need to be mounted/fastened down and protected? Any help is appreciated!

It's weather proof, just lay it on the frame there or tie it down with zip ties or something.

Zip ties are fine, personally I like to take a band saw to the stock airbox, and keep the very bottom for PCM to sit in. Completely unnecessary, though.

I went with velcro on the bottom to hold it in place, worked fine for 5 years.
