I ran 24* all last year with the E85. I tried back to back to back runs last fall. 16* to 20* picked up 1 mph, 20* to 24* picked up another 1.5 mph.


I do understand that at 24*, if something goes wrong and it knocks, the result will be more severe.
Why do you want to run it that high? As you said, it's risky, and you'd run faster with a smaller pulley with less timing.
