    Hello all!

    I just purchased a 2006 Grand Prix GT for commuting in the city. As I do with all used vehicles I buy I do a general check and tune-up before taking her out for reliable service. This brings me to my first issue. While taking the MAF off to clean it I noticed a hose missing for the EVAP off the tube between the TB and MAF(picture below). Next to it looks like a hack job of some sort on what appears to the the EVAP hose. Can anyone take a picture of otherwise direct me on how these two are supposed to properly meet?

    Thanks in advance.

    It looks like the nipple is broken off.

    I think this picture is correct.

    you pull that white thing thats jammed in there out, then that ring there is a lock ring i think. pretty much you push the black boot there on the line over the tube on the sensor there.

    Upon further inspection, I found this;

    I think these two need to be connected. I put a plug in it for the mean time.

    Like Scotty said. Those need to be connected.

    Good explanation in last post here.

    Hmm, usually PVC is after the TB to create a vacuum on the crankcase. Glad I found where the hole connects to.
