    Yes..but to tell you which side it's thick or thin, you want the gasket.

    I remember when that write up first came out, I questioned that item and unfortunately it was not received well. In the end though..if you make it 1.9 and square things up a bit, you aren't helping yourself unless you work on the edges that will give you benefit.

    what do you mean work on the edges exactly? like taper them?
    how would you go about porting a LIM?

    He's right because castings can shift. Some I guess worse than others. Don't gasket match it unless you are gasket matching your heads. But laying the gasket on will let you see if you have any shifting.

    Also you can bolt the lim back on with your old gasket and stick your fingers down the runners. You'll be able to feel which sides are safer to trim.

    VS (very small?) cam, SD Headers, 2.8" pulley, 29°, ported everything, E85, AEM water/meth, Deka 60's, HPT tuned

    was hoping to do this with a extra LIM so there is no downtime, but i am sending my pcm to overkill for the gear ratio change, guess i can spend my time porting and test fitting then.
