I live in Florida, So I usually constantly have the cold air blasting. But one night it was decent out so I decided to turn the air off and roll the windows down. I didn't think anything of it, and didn't check the temp gauge until I noticed when I was pulling in the drive way the temp gauge was up high, second notch past mid-point. I turned the air back on and it slowly when down to the notch below mid which is where it usually is at. Is that normal, is the water pump on it's way, or maybe due for a flush?

Bonus side problem: Thought my battery was bad, got a new one, still would constantly click. When it did start it was rough and slow. Tested alternator and it was fine. Assumed it would be starter but I read somewhere to check relays/fuses. I opened up the fuse box and noticed fuel pump relay wasn't fully in place, so I pushed it all the way in then switched fuse #24 (I think) labeled "Elek IGN" with spare fuse in the box even though it looked fine. Tried starting and it fired right up like there was never a problem. Could that really cause clicking like it was a dead battery? But it would also start with a jump. Makes no sense to me.

Sorry for the word wall but better to have a full understanding of the situation lol.
