finished my top swap on my 2000 grand prix. scored a gen v huffer at the junkyard. what mods should i look at doing to support the installation of the gen v supercharger with stock pulley?

mods already on car to support top swap: headers, 3" catless downpipe, 1 heat range colder plugs, 180 thermostat, CAI, overkill tune. i'm planning for the second stage of my build.

I'm leaning toward the SBC cam (that overkill motorsports recommends) or XP cam (from zzp), appropriate springs/retainers, with yella terra 1.6 roller rockers, N* and ls4 maf and new tune to match. would that match up well with the new gen v with stock pulley? or smaller pulley perhaps considering the cam?

    Sounds fairly solid to me.

You'd want flow mods and I'm surprised you have only the headers and a tune. The thing to consider with the Gen V is .. all M90's move 90 cubic inches of air with each revolution. Therefore.... the only thing you are doing is putting a more efficient blower that moves the same amount of air in place of what you currently have. You didn't say which pulley was on the Gen 3 you are running, stock for stock.... same amount of air with the Gen V being a cooler charge of air. That's the technical perspective of it. The non-tech side says running a 3.2 on a Gen 3 is about equivalent in power/boost to running a Gen V with a 3.4. Take that for how it sounds and apply the technical knowledge to it.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

IMO, the cam will really help the setup breathe better.

I might have a full northstar/LQ4 setup for a Gen 5 for sale.

You'll have to either buy an adapter for the connector, or physically change the connector over to the other MAF sensor.
