    anyone got any ideas...since my previous difficulties, I am getting a constant po404/405 code..... valve is new...ish about 500 miles

    check the wires to the egr, they maybe damaged,. cracks, missing insulation will cause those codes. or the egr is bad.

    When you list a code, please list the name. It helps us out by not having to look it up for you. I get the impression that some folks are lazy and don't research and issue...they post and figure someone else will do the work.

    Check the 5 volt and ground references
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    I get a random P0404 sometimes, my solution is going to be an EGR delete lol.

    or just leave the egr and delete the codes. what i did to my car. sick of it popping up from time to time, same for the evap. deleted, in all i got like 12 deleted codes lol

    i have a dhp tuner, with a tuner program and hardware you cant set the codes to not report. and they show ready on a obd2 scan at inspection.
