I was driving and my 04 pontiac grand prix with a 3800 series 3 and it started overheating so we changed the thermostat and checked the water pump. When I put in anti-freeze it ran out from somewhere around underneath the center front exhaust manifold but can't see where. Anyone have any idea or suggestions where it might be coming from?

Maybe a frost plug is leaking, but I'm only guessing.
You're going to have to get under the car and see where it's coming from, nothing I can do sitting here at his computer.

Thanks, can you tell me where they might be on the block? and what I might need to remove to get them?

You will have to get underneath, there will be frost plugs on the front of the engine, right above the starter, and near the back of the a/c compressor. Seeing that you are in Canada, you may have a block heater, and I'd bet it's the culprit. It will be the port closest to the compressor I believe. Fairly simple to change those, should have a nut on the front you remove, and clean the hole. You may put some rtv on the new heater o-ring, and reinstall with the nut.

this engine is upside down, but them silver spots are the plugs that may have rusted out.

I thought the upside down engine was the racing option that allowed you to run super-high RPM's with no windage tray in the crankcase (since gravity would pull the oil down away from the crank)?

Nah.. if you look at it closer, I took that pic before I put the pan bolts in. Next picture was to show how well the oil filter tucks up on the Bonne.
