    GMPP/KONI package. BFG g force sport 255/60/16 summer tires @ 20psi

the m90 kit isnt as expensive as everyone makes it sound, like i said in another topic these logs i have will be for sale soon so thats going to be a big savings for someone interested in the kit.

One of my fellow Lesabre T-type owners is running a 245HP NA 3.8 in his T and it did not cost a huge amount, under a grand I think. So why is 250hp with a more advanced Series III not viable?

    Just asking.....ducks for cover......

250 whp is hard. no one said you cant make 250 cranks hp.

it's just not in the motor unless you put a lot of work into it (cam, heads, higher compression, etc). it's not worth it at that point when you can put $1000 into a blower setup and be twice as fast.

250 crank would not be hard. but getting it to the wheels is another story. automatic trans doesnt help at all, somthing like 15% drivtrain loss?

Nothing great Just a small T66 Turbo with a Hv3 On a stock tranny untill i finish the other one.

Yes, 250 crank hp is not that impossible, but 250 whp is just about with a N/A setup. Some say our drivetrain loss is somewhere between 20-25%. Also, how do you know that the LeSabre is making 245 crank hp? Did he remove the engine and put it on an engine dyno? That's the only way to know for sure what the crank hp is.

    NA dyno: 222whp
    Novi 1000 dyno: 348whp
    Novi 2000 dyno: 372whp Best 1/4 mile: 13.2634@105.12mph

No is telling you that you can't make 250 whp N/A but it will take higher compression a decent cam ,ported heads, small tube headers, and a higher stall convertor,a lot of guys have went the N/A route only to be dissapointed and eventually go to forced induction, because the truth is making more than 1hp per cubic inch is difficult to do N/A you just need more cubic inches to put down some decent power or some type of FI .Chico.

Valid Points. I'm on the verge of getting a nice S/C valve train setup. Waiting till spring to mod, figure meanwhile save up a little more for some trans mods. Waiting to do trans mods till I choose which FI way I am going. I know there is going to be a few more demod's going on, snag up some deals

S/C dude. and i wouldnt worry about an SSM90 kit, too expensive. I had a full top swap ready for under $600 with nice parts.

dont bother staying N/A go M90. it is a complete waste of time and money trying to make N/A fast
x2. I enjoyed modding my GT, and put everything on there including hvtb, hv3, er rockers, 3" dp, exhaust wizair cai, 180tstat, tune, poly mounts, fuel rewire, msd packs, wires, tb spacer, and some other stuff, and it was still slow. My car actually feels faster now, after i demodded the rockers, hv3, wizair, and hvtb and spacer......dunno why. I wasnt anywhere close to 250hp and still got beat by stock GTPs and i remember getting beat before my rockers by a GT with prj wires and some good tuning. Total, I had about $1300 worth of power mods, and still was slow. With that, u can do a top swap with a cam and some other goodies
