You can re-use the upper plenum gasket in most cases and instead of replacing the upper plenum it's easier and cheaper to plug the TB coolant ports off with quick steel and is the only sure way to totally eliminate the egr tube/plenum melting problem

And get aluminum coolant elbows like scotty said
