Just picked up my GT this week and the temp gauge was only reading a little over 160 when completely warm.I decided to go ahead and change out the stat since its an easy job.I pulled the housing off and some azzclown had installed the stat incorrectly and put the wrong stat in!! I don't mean wrong temp I mean it was not the one for the car!! They put the stat in then put the rubber seal on TOP of it then tightened the whole mess down cant believe it wasn't leaking at least it was a 195 stat.I put the new one in and fired her up and the temp gauge now reads up where it should and the heater about melts ur flesh!!

surpisingly the heater worked ok but the engine temp was really low all fixed now.Guessing I might as well do plugs and everything after finding that.
