Long story short...i had my audio wire zip tied to the small wire that runs across the passenger strut tower. Of course with my luck it snapped when i needed to move something. Anyway ive heard people saying they replaced the hard plastic wire for a rubber wire but what size would i need and how would that be connected? Im thinking about just going to the dealer and let tham charge me an arm and leg but i'd rather get info on it first. Thank you

Take your broken section off from the motor to the break and drive to the parts store, this should not cause you a problem with the motor. Walk into the parts store and ask where the bulk vacuum line/rubber hose is located.

Use the broken end of the hard line you have to find a suitable size to slip over it firmly. I like to have about an inch of hose over the hard line for a repair. Buy a full foot of the size that works for you. Smile that it's likely under $2.

Drive home, cut the hose to a reasonable size to fix the broken area and reattach the lines etc. Put your leftover piece in a safe place for the next repair.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
