Ive search the forums looking for the best way to change the fuel lines so i dont have to worry about them leaking and starting a fire. If anyone has part numbers for what the used or the place they got them like autozone or something id appreciate the help.

What have you heard? I've never heard of them "popping off", leaking maybe..not popping off.

I heard they can start fires so idk i figured the popped off and sprayed everywhere. Im on my phone and i cant get the link to add but if you look on regals.org and search "Top Swap Fuel Line Set Up" he uses a 3/8 and 5/16 @ 18in. long fuel line connector with a braided brass fitting to put the old and new lines together. Would this be safe?

The problem with stock lines is the orings get brittle and leak after awhile.

Yea but i heard the connectors have to be bent to fit the l67 rail causing leakage. I just dont want to do all this work and it burn up.

Can't get to RGS from here...or you'd see me whoring it up over there as well. I have the braided line link there too though.

The work filter would still filter it out.

Search on the work "e asy" without any spaces and my screen name billboost37

That's the quickest way to filter out all the how to's that I've written.

I found it. I see mine work does that to so i have to search on my phone. If you could look later that would be cool cause i can get the parts he list faster and im about to start putting it together. But id like to upgrade later to braided lines.

I was asked to show how I re-ran my fuel lines when I did the top swap. The L36 factory quick connect fuel lines have a 90 deg bend that fits onto the fuel rail supply and return. Some guys in the past have just bent the L36 lines to fit the L67 rail set up which will likely leak gas and cause a fire. The safest way to avoid this problem is to replace the 90 deg quick connect with straight quick connect fuel line fittings. I don't have pictures of the l36 fuel lines but here are some pics of how I did the top swap lines.

I used these fuel lines. One 3/8" and one 5/16" @ 18" long with a barbed brass fitting to couple the factory lines and the new lines together.

Here is the new straight quick connect fittings
