    1997 SE 3800's MAF's are all the same for the GT/GTP 97-03.

    Everything '99-'03 though...throttle body wise wouldn't work without a tune or a swapped PCM, but since you're '97...your PCM is year specific....and your transmission is also vacuum powered as well.

    On the other note about overheating, could it have been attrib to my my air intake changeover? also gonna change my seal again and wait longer to bleed the thermostat housing.
