I'd take the opportunity to change the timing chain damper.
Potentially, if the damper breaks, the chain could slack up and slip or break as well. These are interference engines and that means the piston could come up and meat a still open exhaust or intake valve. Now you need to pull the heads and possibly need a new bottom end.
Depending on the mileage of your new engine, you might want to do it since it'd be easy with the engine out.
