Should I just do a double roller timing chain while I'm at it? How much work is it to do the 130 springs and the timing chain install?

Spring install is a spring install. Usually takes me about 4 hours. Timing chain isn't horrible. You have to draiin the coolant and pull the timing cover. Which ...it's about 2 little torx head bolts from doing a cam swap.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

So I guess the question I'm asking is should I do a double roller timing chain now and pay somebody to help me with the install of the rockers and chain? Am I still gonna put down good power even though I didn't go with a cam? Also I am looking for somebody to help me with the install if anybody would be willing to help :-)

no you didnt goof. but you dont need 130s unless youre doing a cam. so dont fret on that

    turbo and rockers=105s
turbo and cam= 105s or 130s depending on what stage and your shift points.

Not saying I've been around for very long, but in my short searches, I've never even heard a rumour of a catastrophic failure from a stock chain.

Only stretching and before that, a worn our tensioner.

As of right this second it has 118,263 miles on it. I just don't wanna get all this work done and get a turbo on there just to find out that I need to replace a timing chain when I could of done it when I do the rockers. If you understand what I mean :-)

Seriously, I'd get Crow 105's like I said.

    New timing chain.

    New dampner.

Just because, it doesn't hurt and it is cheap.

I just thought of an interesting question that maybe you guys can answer for me. I bought these roller rockers used but they did not come with pedestals so I have no clue If you need them or not. I tried looking on different sites and wasn't able to find anything. Maybe I'm just being paranoid and I don't need pedestals but I figured I'd ask.

I am pretty sure you don't need them but ZZP was the one who had Comp Cams make these for them so you could contact them if someone else doesn't respond.

Asking ZZP is like getting no responses anyways...

    So, yeah.

I just got an email from zzp and they told me these need standoffs. Idk where to get these. Google wasn't much help.

Standoffs are probably the the same thing Harland Sharp rockers use. It's basically a pedestal for 2 rockers instead of I full metal piece that is for all the rockers. They might be singular like the Yella Terra rockers instead of double like the ones below, but I don't know for sure.

I am not 100% though. I will send a message to a guy on the local forum that I know has those Comp rockers.

Should I get the stronger pushrods from zzp? And if so which ones that way I can select the correct ones from the drop down menu. Btw I'm talking about the comp cams pushrods not the zzp custom pushrods.
