Another thing i noticed this summer when i changed plugs and wires was on the coil pack posts. One post on every coil pack was like rusted looking..??! The other post(s) was fine and shiney looking...
All posts on the coils should be shiny. If not, clean them up w/ a scotchbrite (NOT STEEL WOOL) and put some dielectric grease on them and in the plugwire boots.
You can try disconnecting the MAF and see if it will run/drive any better. It will be hard to start/run at first but should eventually smooth out. If this is the case and the driveability issues clear up, then time for a new MAF. Also, while driving/running without the maf DO NOT BEAT ON IT! Just drive smoothly as the car is running off of pre-programmed tables at this point and cannot always adjust for extreme changes in driving style.
Oh we checked the fuel pressure which was around 45 psi... That normal..??
