I have and 04 GP GT2. It ran fine when I first got it last summer. Recently i've had some problems with it. It feels like it has lost power in general. Sometimes when I start it it idles rough, and is a little jerky when i start to accelerate. I even have to tap the gas sometimes to get it to fire up. On the interstate, when i'm climbing hills and revving higher, it'll misfire and bog. I feel like I have to play with the pedal to get it to downshift.

So far i've changed the fuel filter and intake MAF, oil change, thermostat, coolant change. Just regular maintenance stuff.

    Any help guys? thanks

clean the throttle body, that should stop the dying right after start up.

change your spark plugs and wires aswell, as part of your tune up.

by cleaning the throttle body you mean just take off the intake tube and clean it up with carb cleaner? if so, I already did that. Tried to do the plugs but i can't get to the back 3.

no like take the whole TB off the car and clean it (its 3 bolts = easy ), I bet the inside (part you cant see) is caked in black carbon and crap.

Awww come on, anyone get do plugs on these cars, its simple, just use your hand man, reach back there and feel your way through the job.

Or you can unbolt the 2 upper mounts and grab a ratchet strap and hook it to the back of the motor and pull it forward to give yourself another 2 in or so.

well plugs and wires are done and it's running way smoother, the way it should. Now it still acts funny a little and it seems like the tranny is acting up a bit. it hesitates and sometimes shifts kinda slow. should i do my fluid/filter?
