    Hey all,

    This is my first post, I have a 05 grand prix gt 3.8 non-super, the harmonic balancer went out...however I cannot find a replacement part anywhere (marietta GA) everyone say they don't carry it for my car. Can someone enlighten me and let me know if this is truly only a dealer item. Any recommendations on where to get this item? I called all of the local auto parts stores and they don't have it/can't order it/don't carry it at all....i am having this same luck with the fuel filter also. Any hbelp will be appreciated. Thanks!

    Your balancer should be the same as the ones from 97-03 N/A cars.

    I just looked on gm parts direct and i did see the unbit for my car. However i was thinking i could get it locally and put it om tomorrow. I was just surprised that none of the parts stores carried it..stating dealer item only...even my fuel filter???

    Has anyone tried putting on a 03 unit on their car?? even on gmpartsdirect they list them differently..wit different prices.

    Thanks..I guess i'll be ordering online...how is th eship time with gmparts?
