i made a post a while back because my 3.8 was misfiring under a load and generally running like crap. i tried replacing spark plugs and wires but it was still messed up. per advice from this forum i replaced the cat today and its running 100% better. i think the new pipe was a magnaflow? not sure, i don't know how to weld so i got one that was the whole frontpipe without that weird bend for the o2 sensor. i kinda had to mush the heat shield to get the sensor in on the side but none the less its runnin good. thanks guys

good work. the heat shield is fairly unnecessary so if you felt like cutting it out you could have.
