That's a lot of miles period!
how so?
I know work trucks that are 5 years old with 600K + on them.
370 K miles..... regardless...
you lie, theres no way your car has that many miles and looks that good
my 98 has 216k
You win.
Rust check it is...
139 xxx km
86 xxx mi
List of things I've replaced due to wear:
LCA's.
Front sway bar.
Struts.
Springs.
Rear sway bar links.
VC Gaskets.
LIM gaskets.
Coolant elbows.
Next is a front hub.
List of fun:
Harmonic balancer.
IAT.
Coils.
TPS.
LIM.
Supercharger case.
Supercharger needle bearings.
Supercharger coupler and fluid.
Brakes.
Header complications.
New cat.
S/C idler/tensioner pulleys.
And people wonder why I don't love my car.
And you forget to mention, that doing almost every single thing on that list, the car fights with you to get it done.
Nothing is ever easy on a GM.
I will admit. The sleeperyness of that car is spot on fantastic.
Struts? Easiest thing I've ever done.
Worse two things were LCA's and trailing arms.
166K. Runs at Edgewater (Cincinnati) almost every thursday in the high 13's. Org. motor and tranny. Stupid 3.8? Wards 10 best inlcuded the 3.8 several times, never saw the 3.1 or 3.4. I guess its all about who likes what. The 3.8 is one of the best motors ever made, not the best, but one of. The best is the OM906 Mercedes 70's and 80's diesel. Record holders with 3+ million miles. I digress
P/S rack.
or anything that as rusted/seized can **** up your day.
In general, agree though, nice and easy.
Be thankful that the fuel pump is so easy to get at and change! That alone saves big money. Overall, we have great cars to work on.
