Sorry the full message is " P0455 Evaporative emission (EVAP) control system leak detected(no purge flow or large leak)"

I think it might be the evaporative canister??

I had the same code on my 04 gp. I made the mistake of buying a new purge valve for about $45 when that wasn't it. It turned out to be the wiring to the Evap Canister. One of the wires was torn almost all the way through.

If you have already tried a fuel cap your next step would be to smoke test your EVAP system to see if there is a leak anywhere.

You can visually look under the car if you'd like. see if any of the hoses look damaged. short of that i would get it smoked to find the leak. i believe the canister is close to the fuel tank. diagram below

    1.fuel feed pipe
    2.evap purge pipe to engine
    3.fuel level vent valve
    4.fuel tank pressure sensor
    5.fuel filler vent pipe
    6.canister vent valve
    7.vent pipe to canister
    8.modular returnless assembly
    9.evap purge pipe to canister
    10.canister

Pressure sensor failed on my 06' GXP before I put it up in the fall.. Gotta fix it before the summer heat so my auto car start works again
