    Hi folks,

I posted yesterday that I spotted coolant leakage on coolant elbow at LIM. I went ahead to replace it today. everyting went smoothly in terms of taking thing apart. However, I can't get the old elbow from water pump to tensioner assemlby out. Now, this dreaded elbow starts to leak.

Any brilliant idea to remove this elbow.
    Thanks.

What year is your Regal? I know 97-98 GP has a different alt bracket that has a cast elbow not the plastic ones.

you have to take most of the rotating side off. alt, hyrdralic tens...all that stuff. its like a 6 dollar part and a common issue....guess i misunderstood your question, pull like hell and it'll come out. or just break the damn thing since you need to replace it any how

Hi I think I have the same problem, I have a leak that is coming from beneath the alt but is behind the water pump so I cant really see it.

I have a 97 SE, and I bet its this elbow. What is it actually called so I can get a replacement?
