Thread: o-ring for temperature sensor?

Back in the summer I replaced the radiator on my wife's '99 Grand Prix. One of the items that I kept was a temp sensor near the battery, which is held on with a wire clip.

That sensor has been leaking lightly ever since, but it's gotten a lot worse with the cold weather.

When it was installed I used some plumbers teflon pipe dope to coat the o-rings, as they looked undersized for the cavity they fit in. Evidently that didn't do the trick.

Are those two square o-rings available separately? If not, has someone taken dimensions off those so I could order new from a vendor?

Whoops, this is actually a radiator coolant level sensor.

If someone has one of these sensors and a set of calipers handy, and can give me dimensions, I'll find a nice viton o-ring to fit from my catalog. thanks.
