I'm sure this has been asked before, but i'm looking to fix up my 04 GT2, and possibly slapping a super/turbo charger on, and that would probably affect some of the parts i'll purchase to upgrade. My question is, is the only difference between a GT2 and a GTP the supercharger? Or are there different internal engine components?

you need a lot more than just the blower, but the main difference between the blocks are the rods and pistons.

Well, yes, the engines are more the same than different, yet there are differences.

But just as a friendly warning I have only seen a couple people on this forum actually pull off a top swap on a 04+ and actually have a running car a year later. I have read peoples accounts, and it doesn’t sound like fun at all to be honest. IMHO get a PCM tune, slap on a set of 20s and be happy.

Ten years of continuous driving excitement and counting!
