Alright, here's my dilemma. I recently installed a K&N CAI in my 97 GT and I keep getting a code for the IAT sensor, p0114. The IAT was installed in the place provided by the kit, right before the throttle body. I looked this code up on the internet and i was told to replace the sensor and the connector on the wiring harness, which I have done to no avail. Anyone willing to drop some advice, by all means please.

The P0114 code is actually "Raped by K&N's overpriced junk" code. Should read some of the threads on here about it.

Not sure if you have done both. Do all of the wires look ok that run into the loom over the upper intake?

what he said... ^^^. i would go over the wires to make sure they are not damaged. check the end of the sensor also... i wouldnt say as much that its getting a bad reading... for a short time on my gt before i found my stock airbox to put back on i actually just had the iat sensor sitting inside my cone intake and it didnt throw any codes whatsoever

Alright i fixed the problem with the code. As it turns out bluegtp91 was right. It was the K&N system that did it. I took the intake out with the intention of putting the factory one back in and I noticed something on the PCM. The wires on the wiring harness that connect to the PCM had been worn through by the K&N filter and were shorting out. This was causing the SES light and it was also messing with the transaxle. I taped all of the exposed wires and now it runs like new. Didnt cost a thing to fix.

I have to give some credit to BoostedComp too. That advice turned out to be sound seeing that there was a short in the wiring harness.
