Ok, from reading on and on, i have figured out that MSD Coils are Bad News Wrapped in a shinny red package. As for plugs and wires, i alwasy had success with NGK V-Power, i think i will stick with those, but for the wires, any ideas on a good quality wire that our cars like?

Autolite 606's, TDC Wires...take your coil packs off and clean them and the ICM for safe measure. New oil, oil filter, fuel filter, 180* T-Stat...should be good to go.

Oh and of course the ReCalls (not sure if the guy prior to me ever got all of them done), how much do the TDC wires usually go for?

You can wipe off the ICM with a towel of sorts...I used a microfiber and it worked great. Clean the coil terminals with sand paper and then wipe it off with a damp towel.

so the ones tdc has fits? i cant for the life of me remember which taylor set i have..the 72210 or 72206...but they are a heck of a lot better than stock i tell you that much! if you dont want to use sand paper, a small metal wire brush works wonders on the terminals...that is what i used...and yes, theh icm gets really crusty if you live in dirtier environments (ie d.c., honolulu, san diego...) or a place with construction and what not that always seems to happen. leaves and what not get stuck under neath the coil packs somehow...pfm!!

Just keep the stock ones and paint them if you want to. MSD coils are just for eye candy, I have them though...they're nice but that is all they are.

The wires shipped are going to run you $98.84 shipped

as for coils the stock ones are just as good as any after market ones so i would just stick with the stockers if there is nothing wrong with them, just clean them up a bit.
