Just wanted to let everyone know that it is possible to use your stock dogbones and rubber mounts to get the same performance as aftermarket ones.

The aftermarket poly mounts are kindy pricy & some people say they cause excessive vibration when at idle, not good for daily driver.

This will stiffen your engine up, not allowing it to rock back and forth. It removes rough shifting, caused by excessive engine movement, and minimizes your exhaust from rocking back and forth which will extend the life of your exhaust flex members.

Supplies Needed:
WD40
Flat-Head Screwdriver
15mm Ratchet & open end wrench, or two 15mm wrenches

Here's what to do:

1. Remove original dogbones. You may want to do them one at a time if not on flat ground so the engine doesn't move out of place so much.

2. Spray rubber mounts with WD40 by wedging screwdriver along sides of rubber mounts, pry them open to allow WD40 to penetrate them for turning.

3. Take one of the bolts you took out when removing the dogbones and put it through the hole of the rubber mount. Tighten against the metal part of the mount.

4. Once the bolt is tight, use it to turn the rubber mount 90 degrees. It doesn't matter which way you turn them, just be sure they turn a full 90 degree turn.

5. Remove bolt and replace dogbone.

6. Clean WD40 overspray around area
