04 Grand Prix Coolant Leaking

My 04 GP has 300946k on it and recently i seen when im riding around town there will be smoke coming from my engine once in a while and looked today and noticed coolant on top of the engine i checked the thermostat housing thats good heres some pictures

LIM gasket time!! Your LIM gaskets have sprung a leak and are depositing coolant on top the LIM.

Yup, intake gasket time.

You better catch it before it gets worse and perhaps kills the motor.

But don't worry, it's not a hard job. You just have to have an idea of what you're doing. Should take no more than half a day to get done if you've never done one before.

Magnum lower intake gasket kit off RockAuto, upper intake gasket kit. Oil and filter, coolant, new thermostat.

is there a good tutorial on how to do this really dont want to spend the $500 for a mechanic to do it would be nice to get it done next weekend and take the car in for the valve cover recall after

i got to oreilly's for my parts is this the correct parts i need just right accross the boarder and i have the aluminum elbows could i reuse them ??

get the magnum kit, off rockauto.

it comes with o rings t stat gasket, side cover on the lim gasket elbor o rings so you can re use the elbow you have. and its like 40 bucks. its a good kit really.

dont forget to use thread sealant on the lim bolts, thats why you have coolant there, the thread sealer has quit and the coolant came up the lim bolts.
