I have a low Mile 99 gtp. I replaced a throttle position switch that was damaged when I dropped a ratchet on it. It was functional even though I broke the surround for the plug. I used a new oem part. Unfortunately I installed it wrong and the transmission wouldn't shift out of first gear until 4k.

I drove it back home and pulled it out again and noticed I installed it incorrectly and didn't allow it to rest against the pins. After I put it back together I drove it around town and it drove and shifted fine. A little later that night I drove it again but the transmission is slipping. Like it isn't engaged in drive or half between neutral and drive. I put it in park and back into drive but it stayed the same.

The car has never had transmission issues and nothing smells burned in the atf. Car showed no issues before I replaced the tps. I tried the old tips but it still does it.

Anyone ever have anything like this come up?

I didn't get into second. It revs and barely moves in 1st. It moves enough to get going but it is slipping.
