Hey guys, I've been doing some research on a trans cooler install on my 01 GTP and I just want to make sure I have a couple questions answered before I do it tomorrow. First, I've heard that I could do it in series with the radiator or as a standalone. Being in Chicago, I've heard that installing it in series is the way to go but some people say otherwise. Opinions on that? With this, do I need to worry about check ball fittings? The cooler I have is a Hayden 679 cooler. I was planning just splicing into the line and flare the ends and using hose clamps. Also, if doing it in series, tap into lines coming out of the radiator? So then it goes trans>radiator>my cooler>trans. Is there anything else I need?
