If they're both NA GP's it should be a direct swap. You MIGHT have to change the cooler fittings. The 2000 is definitely the clip in type fitting. The doner trans might have the flared/threaded fittings. If that's the case, just pull the fittings from the junk trans, and throw them in the doner unit.
