have a 02 buick regal gs and it started to stutter as i accelerated and thought it might be a wiring issue or possibly something with the fuel. after a few days kept getting worse and one day on my way home from work engine light came on and threw two codes at me. P0742 and p0757 which are tcc and shift solenoid b stuck on. this all happened right after i replaced my valve cover gaskets, coincidence or something i could have done with wires? did happen to see some wires that were rubbing on a pulley which were bare that i taped up. they were going to the icm. (getting a new harness to replace those wires eventually). so just curious if my tranny is gone or is it simpler then that. after my light came on and headed home, it acted like it was in neutral and could barely accelerate otherwise it would just rev up. got a tranny at the junkyard for $100 if i need to get it but if i don't need to waste my time getting it i'd appreciate any help if anyone has had this problem/codes come up. thanks!
