Hi all. I'm having an issue with my shift points. My car always wants to be in a very high gear. For example 25-35MPH its trying to be in fourth with the TCC locked up. If I get on the gas slightly at those speeds the RPMs will be around 900-1K. If I get into it a little deeper, say on an off ramp to merge into traffic, the progression seems to be: locked TCC, unlocked TCC fourth, third trying to lock up, second.
Is there anything I can do to help this? Seriously climbing up a hill at 35 in fourth with the TCC locked and waiting for it to figure itself out is brutal. Not to mention that I'm sure this is creating extra heat, and these units seem to make enough of that on their own.
