Out of the hundred trans codes, only one or two are programmed to turn the light on. The rest sit there in the background hoping you don't realize it. P1811 which is what Matt's post etc is getting at is a code for Max Adapt Shift, meaning it jacks the pressure to bang shift you by applying max pressure to the fluid and filling that clutch piston super quick. The shift kit keeps this from happening by making the shift happen faster and the trans doesn't detect that it's taking too long to fully engage the clutches.Originally Posted by Wakesk8er18
