yea don't go with the w-body shift kit if your lookinf for a cheap one i would atleast check out zzp's shift kits or go with This one or just go with the intense shift kit it's probably the best http://intense-racing.com/Merchant2/...ategory_Code=T or you can check out this link that is posted from the stl club gp site, which tells you how to build one.

Depends on which you use. Some actually increase the life of the clutches by reducing how much they slip between shifts.

ahh I see I see. So my car is kinda hesitating before grabbing second under normal driving conditions... Like, I feel it let go of first and motor sounds like its got no load then rpms drop and I got second gear... That would be something with my Solenoids, right?

Thinking of buying a shift kit myself.
Why is pricing so different between wbs,zzp ans intense?
Zz p has the for $30.00, is this a complete kit?

Why is intense much more x-pensive?

ZZP's is only spacers. Intense's is all new springs, spacers, detailed instructions, seals, accumulator gasket, hell even sandpaper to scuff the accumulator walls. It's everything you need, except fluid.

The Intense kit has everything you need except fluid, yes. The pan gasket is reusable.

Yeah I had gotten the W-Body shift kit some time ago and it was ONLY 4 plastic tubes that slipped over the pins and nothing more. USELESS! I got the Thrasher Shift Kit, and it has new springs, brass tubes and instructions, plus it gives you THREE different settings for the type of shifting you want!

If you think cost of their shift kit is cheap? Well the product they sell you is definitely CHEAP! Stick with the Thrasher, or Intense kit. You won't be disappointed!
