figure its bound to go out on me sometime and I would really like to have one on stand by so I figure I'll pick one up from a Jy and rebuild it in my free time till the day mine fails and swap it so Im just looking for general information on which I should go looking for I know the comp g trans come with the 3.29 gear ratio are they a direct swap to a 98 if im already rebuilding it would swapping internal gears be more cost effective or is sticking with the stock gears my best bet and than anywhere I can reinforce something along the way not sure what hardened gears cost or a full rebuild so any ballpark numbers would be excellent thanx in advance I'm already planning on picking up the books tranny man suggests in his thread and possibly the shift kit from zzp although i had seen in the cheap mod thread a diy on it
