I have a 08 SE. The temp is rising at a constant rate. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

It is more than likely normal. Trans temp likes to hang close to engine temp.

I've noticed trans temps can be high with the wife driving. As soon as the TC locks up she tends to let off the throttle, causing the TC to unlock. Lots of TC abuse going on.

Guys.. I'm a 2000 Re(al car)gal and driving through the hills of PA last weekend with temps hovering at 100F, my engine temp saw closer to 200F than the 195 stat in there and the trans averaged about 200F, got as high as 215F. Even at 215F, we are still well within the normal operating range. Sure it's a warmer than I'd like..but if I were walking up that hill.. my temps would have risen much more than the 15 degrees or so that the trans did.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I hit 216 on the trans temp yesterday.

It was 96 with a heat indext of 104 and I was in some traffic. I really want to get an external cooler put on to help that temp out.
